Answer: Just as English has become the primary language of the Internet, the US Dollar has become the predominant currency. Wherever you live in the world, you always know what your local currency is worth relative to the US Dollar, whereas most people do not have the same reference point for their local currency against the GB Pound or Euro.

4. If your prices are in US Dollars, why do you charge VAT on UK and European orders?
Answer: Valued Added Tax (VAT) is a pan-European tax on end users or consumers of products and services and has nothing to do with the currency denomination, only where the product is being shipped to. We are legally obliged to charge VAT on EU orders unless either a) the product is exempt or b) you have notified Geon of your VAT registered status.

EU residents who wish their orders to be zero-rated need to register with us and send us your VAT certificate or equivalent legal document, showing your local VAT number clearly. If the document is not in English or is in any way unclear you are required to send a copy of both the original and a clear translation as we cannot register you on our system as being VAT registered if we cannot understand the document. All orders for delivery outside of the EU are automatically zero-rated and classed as exports for VAT purposes. Geon's VAT number appears on all our invoices.

To submit your VAT number go into your Member's area and click on YOUR FINANCES. Click on the tab called VAT INFORMATION. Simply type in your VAT number and click submit. 5. Who owns Geon and how long has it been in business?
Answer: Nigel Allan established Geon Limited in early 2007 with the intention of developing novel products in the health and beauty arena with the application of emerging technologies to create new levels of performance. 7. You say BODYHEAT is mood-driven. What does this mean?
Answer: We all know that sexual arousal starts in the brain. Once you are in the right mood, then a physical response is the result of suitable stimulation. But if you are not in the mood or don't have a realistic anticipation of sexual activity, how can you get physically aroused? Even prescription drugs like Viagra cannot guarantee this. Some of the ingredients in BODYHEAT enhance and intensify the arousal process by increasing levels of dopamine in the brain and nitric oxide in the blood supply - known factors in the mechanics of sexual rsponse. BUT you need to be in the right mood, and preferably right environment to trigger the desired reaction. 8. What effects can I expect when I take BODYHEAT?
Answer: Effects vary slightly from person to person depending on their mood, general state of health, age, weight, how you take it and time you take it and your expectation.

Generally speaking you can expect an increase in body temperature (the name BODYHEAT gives a clue) and blood flow within about 30 minutes, which may give a slight flushing of the face (you know it is working) and increased pulse rate. This is to be expected and nothing to worry about.

After this initial feeling and 'rush' passes you might notice an increased mental alertness and motivation with the feeling that you have 'extra' energy to burn off or are 'ready' for sexual or other activity. You now need to find an outlet for this 'energy'!

Some people who are sensitive to very active ingredients may want to take it with food (protein, carbs or fats are believed to 'complex' the concentrate so it enters your system more gradually) or even take just half a packet at first until they get used to it. People tend to find they experience greater benefits from continued use of the product and find they need less of it if they take a small amount more often - e.g dissolving a packet in a bottle of water and drinking over a couple of days.

Conversely, some people are 'party people' and may want to take up to two packets at once (not advised unless you are used to it or have a body mass over 100kg) when going to a club or bar. 11. When I tried the product I got a headache and felt sleepy - this is not what is supposed to happen, why?
Answer: BODYHEAT contains a range of adaptogenic herbs which 'adapt' to your body's needs. For the vast majority of people this means an increase of energy, libido and alertness.

BODYHEAT is mood-driven and helps your body focus on what it most needs. For some people who are stressed, exhausted or have high levels of toxins in their system, this may even mean helping their bodies sleep more soundly as this is the body's way of telling you this is what it needs most. The body is best able to repair itself and rebuild its immune system during rest and sleep in particular.

BODYHEAT is increasing your body's energy output (metabolic rate) and asking your body to draw on its energy reserves. For some people these may already be exhausted but they are not aware of it because they are already 'running on adrenaline' and may be covering up the symptoms with energy drinks or similar stimulants.

If someone is in this state (and not aware of it) it is possible that BODYHEAT could over-stimulate them to the point of exhaustion, casuing them to feel they need to rest.

This is uncommon and if it happens to you, cut down your caffeine and sugar consumption and give your body and mind some rest, then try BODYHEAT again in a few days.

Headaches are not normal, and are also a sign that your body needs rest, or is suffering from a low level infection like a cold. Under normal circumstances you might deal with this and not notice the headache since it would be so mild, however the BODYHEAT could increase the cardiac output so as to increase cranial pressure thus intensifying a headache like this. Again, this is a symptom of another condition that BODYHEAT is merely highlighting and not caused by the product itself.

Remember BODYHEAT helps accentuate what is already going on in your body. Think of it like a magnifying glass: if you're in the mood for sex, you'll have great sex, but if you're already exhausted, you may feel the need to rest and recuperate. Start by taking a half dose and work up to a full dose.

12. Is BODYHEAT a good work-out supplement?
Answer: That's an excellent question and is dependent to some extent on what type of exercise and the general health condition of the individual. Some sportsmen find that half to one packet of BODYHEAT 30 minutes prior to workout can led to a more powerful training and this is something you need to test for yourself.

However modern nutritional supplements are very sophisticated and for most people you should use a product specifically designed for your body's needs during high intensity exercise.

BODYHEAT does not contain simple sugars such as glucose which your body can use as quick energy during exercise, although some of the ingedients may have a thermogenic effect (increasing your metabolic rate). Vitamin B12 is useful in the creation of energy within the body and you may feel more alert and energetic, but the product is not specifically designed for exercise.

13. After I took BODYHEAT I felt unwell. Could I be allergic?
Answer: It is unlikely but it is important to remember that BODYHEAT is a food product and anybody can be allergic to any type of food ingredient. Some people are allergic to the gluten in wheat, called coeliacs. Others have severe reactions to peanuts and so on. Always read the label on any product you take and check the ingredients against those you know you have a sensitivity to.

If you took BODYHEAT and felt unwell within the first 1-2 hours then you might have a sensitivity to one or more of the ingredients, especially as the BODYHEAT formula is particularly concentrated and potent. If you are willing to continue, take it slowly diluting the product in a bottle of water and drinking it slowly a bit at a time over a period of several days until your body becomes accustomed to it.

15. Is Supercritical CO2 Extraction something to do with fizzy drinks? Is it like carbonation?
Answer: No. Just because it shares the word 'carbon' doesn't mean it has ANY relation to carbonated beverages - or global warming for that matter!

In fact, CO2 extraction is the GREENEST extraction method available because it doesn't use chemicals.

Simply put, Carbon Dioxide is a gas at room temperature but under pressure at a very low temperature it becomes a liquid with some very special properties. It turns into a super solvent which is forced into the structures of the plant at high pressure, capturing and flushing out the precious phytochemicals. As CO2 is non-toxic and inert there is no potentially toxic residue left in the solution as you might find with traditional chemical solvents, and therefore there is also no 'taint'. Have you ever wondered why most herbal extracts taste so bad, usually very bitter? This is partly due to their characteristics as alkaloids but also due to the chemical solvent extraction process used.

Answer: It depends. Answer: If diluted with water, juice or a soft drink and swallowed with food, it will take slightly longer to get into your system as your digestive system has to process all the nutrients together. Whereas if taken alone or sublingually the ingredients will be absorbed much quicker.

However, as with all concentrated nutritional supplements some people can find that if taken on an empty stomach it can lead to queasiness or slight nausea, so our suggestion is that it is better to take with along with protein or other nutrition if you are prone to a sensitive stomach or if you wish the effect to enter your system more slowly.

Answer: On both our website and on our products there are warnings saying that if they are under medical supervision they should consult their doctor before taking BODYHEAT, or indeed any nutritional or food supplement.

Answer: Absolutely not! Sildenafil citrate is the active ingredient in Viagra, a prescription-only drug to treat Erectile Dysfunction, a medical condition. It is illegal to use sildenafil or any of its analogues (chemicals that are similar and sound like sildenafil such as tadalafil) in non-prescription herbal supplements.

Even though we have a multi-currency enabled website, we took the decision last September when the current world financial crisis started to take effect to operate in just one currency for the time being - the US Dollar. With our local currency losing so much of its value against the Dollar and the Euro it made sense to keep everything in one currency until things stabilise again, since we buy a lot of products from the USA.

Therefore, we buy products in Dollars, sell them in Dollars, and pay you bonuses in Dollars, regardless of where you live.

DEBIT CARD Due to the high cost of transferring funds across international borders for each transaction, we sourced our current payment solution - the Mastercard Debit card from Prepaid Financial Services in the UK to pay you bonuses when you receive them. This makes a lot of sense for international Associates, especially if your bonuses are in the tens or even low hundreds of dollars at a time. If you have much larger bonuses we will happily SWIFT the funds to your account.

So when you see money in YOUR EARNINGS you simply make a withdrawal request and we upload whatever amount of your bonus from your ewallet that you have chosen to your debit card once per week.

US DOLLAR CHEQUES The alternate payment solution we have for international Associates is to receive a US Dollar bonus cheque drawn on our USD account at HSBC in New York, but for most people outside the US the cost of negotiating and cashing US Dollar cheques makes it uneconomical unless the amounts are in the hundreds and higher and so the pre-paid MasterCard is on balance the best solution. However, for our US Associates this may be the method of choice.

BACS TRANSFER If you are in the UK however, since we are a UK company, we are able to send you your bonuses by direct bank to bank transfer (BACS). As this does not involve crossing borders it is free, so UK Associates, if you want your bonuses sent this way, just notify us beforehand and we will deposit your bonuses directly into your account

30. How much will it cost me to become an Associate?
Answer: All that is required to become a Geon Independent Associate is the purchase of the ecommerce website or Starter Kit, priced at US $25 (+VAT if you reside within the European Union), which includes your ecommerce enabled replicated website with your own unique URL or username and password protected Members area to manage and track your business for one full year.

31. I signed up for autoship, which will be processed 30 days from now. Does than mean I am qualified to earn bonuses today?
Answer: Great question. Autoship is a FORWARD qualification - meaning it qualifies you for benefits from the day it is processed for the following 30 days. In order to be qualified for something before the autoship is processed you need to make a separate ad hoc purchase.

For example, when you join as an Associate and enrol in autoship it will not take effect (and you will not be charged) until 30 days later, so to be qualified in the meantime you need to make a qualifying product purchase such as a Silver Fast Start Pack or higher.

32. What if a customer wants to upgrade to become an Independent Geon Associate? They already have a site, can they do that?
Answer: That's the beauty of having them already set up with a unique username, log in and partially functional site. They will be able to upgrade at any time via any of the usual methods, buying a Starter Kit.

33. What exactly will I receive when I become an Associate?
Answer: You will get a complete website, just like this one, with your unique username and URL, which you can customise with your personal information or testimonial in the ABOUT ME section. You can even upload your photo. You will also get a back office control panel where you can track and manage your whole business, including both your retail customers and your downline team members.

35. What is my total expected expenditure if I join Geon?
Answer: There is no requirement for you to purchase anything else at all in addition to your Starter Kit. So your total risk need be no more than the cost of a Starter Kit. However, realistically building a successful business takes time, effort and some costs, however small. If you hope to build a successful profitable business with no more 'risk' or cost than $25 then perhaps a home based business is not for you. Even the most modest home based business venture will incur some costs, most of which are usually tax deductible, such as phone bills, stationery, and even other promotional costs such as advertising, although many people build successful network marketing businesses with no advertising costs at all due to their skill and confidence in word of mouth promotion.

If you feel you want do some kind of advertising in order to invite potential customers and prospects to your site, you can choose to do free advertising or paid, and any amount you spend on advertising is entirely up to you. It is entirely your choice and decision, and we put no rules on it except that we do not allow SPAM in any form nor the use of the Company's trade or service marks or intellectual property. So if you want to spend money on advertising, you can and you will be in control of your budget.

36. Can I use my credit card to pay for other account holder? If allowed thus my credit card details can be viewed by the account holder that I've paid.
Answer: If you do this then they can see your card details unless you do it and then log in and delete the details before you give them the password. However, we have a better way.

If they already have a username (i.e. a pending or fully paid member) you can transfer funds to their Geonlabs account from your Geonlabs account under TRANSFER FUNDS and they can use these funds to pay for their order.

If they have not yet signed up and don't have a username you can send them a GIFT CERTIFICATE which they can redeem when they sign up

37. How do I notify Geon of my VAT registration number?
Answer: Log in to your Member's lounge or back office and click on YOUR FINANCES. There is a link there called VAT INFORMATION. Simply type in your VAT number and click BROWSE to search for and upload a copy of your VAT registration document or certificate. Not all EU countries issue a certificate but a legal document such as a letter addressed to you from your VAT department in your country will suffice to prove that you are legally registered for VAT and the number you have typed in is correct. Please make sure it is legible and understandable in English.

Once this is approved your invoices will be zero-rated (no VAT added) if you live in an EU country other than the UK and your VAT number will be printed on the invoice.

If you are a UK VAT registered person you will still pay VAT, as you will offset this in your quarterly returns, but you will be entitled to be paid VAT on top of your commissions.

38. How will I know my Website address and password?
Answer: When you decide you want to join us as an Associate simply click on the JOIN HERE link on the website of the person who introduced you. Your first decision will be to choose your own unique username which will form part of your own unique portal as in www.geonlabs.com/username. You will also select a password so you can access your Members' only management area or 'back office'. Once you have paid your fee for your Starter Kit our software will create your personal site immediately so you can start promoting our products and be in business without delay.

Answer: Please check that your email address is correct in your member PROFILE in your back office.

40. I got an email telling me that my credit card was declined. What can I do to get this fixed?
Answer: Due to Data Protection issues the credit card company does not tell us the reason for cards being declined as it could be due to bad credit, potential fraud or any other reason.

There are some errors which we can trace though if they are due to keying errors or mistyping. Most credit cards contain 16 digits and the error message indicated you had only typed in 12 digits so this is the reason in your case. The card processor 'could not indentify' your card.

The rule of thumb is this: if you KNOW there is no problem with your card or credit and it has been declined then the likelihood is that it is due to some keying error. In other words, the first thing you should do is log in to your members' area and click on YOUR FINANCES and PAYMENT TYPES - double check that the information you have typed in for your card is 100% accurate.

It is very easy to make simple errors when typing in your name and address or even the card number so read carefully to see that your data is all correct. One common error is to mistype the numbers of your credit card or the expiry date, or leave the country defaulted to the first one on the list in alphabetical order. If your address doesn't match for whatever reason this could be a reason for your card to be declined.

Another area which can cause cards to be declined is if you use non-Latin such as local Nordic or eastern European keyboard characters when you type in your data. This can sometimes cause issues with authentication, so the best advice is to only use English (Latin) characters.

Once you have double checked everything ask us to resubmit it for approval. Now there should be no problem, but if there is, then we can only suggest trying a different card.

41. I have never ordered online. Is it safe?
Answer: Yes! It is just as safe as placing an order over the phone or even buying from retail stores. Our website is fully PCI DSS compliant, which is the latest security level required by VISA and MasterCard. Furthermore we are bound by the UK's Data Protection Act and will not share your information with any other party.

42. Is there something wrong with my website? It's impossible to fill in credit card information. Can You check it out for me please?
Answer: Remember, your website is identical to everyone else's so if there were a problem everyone would suffer the same problem. Try closing your browser and opening a fresh one and logging in again.

The website is optimised for use with Internet Explorer on a PC as this is currently the most popular browser (around 85% of users)and most secure.

43. My credit card is good, why wasn't my purchase authorised?
Answer: Make sure you complete the payment or credit card data fields using only LATIN keyboard characters. Foreign or non-Latin keyboard charcaters (as in Norwegian, Swedish and eastern European languages) are not recognised by the credit card processor and will cause the payment to be declined.

44. Once I have signed up, what do I do next?
Answer: As soon as your payment is processed for your Starter Kit (which includes your website and management console), you get your own site with your own username and password. The address will look like this www.geonlabs.com/username

The first thing you should do is log in with your password and double check that all aspects of your profile have been completed correctly as many of us make simple mistakes when we are filling in forms or registering for the first time.

Once logged in you will see the member Welcome page with links to different areas of your members' area to manage your business. First click on PROFILE to check that your name and address is completed correctly, and don't forget to double check that BOTH your BILLING address and SHIPPING or delivery addresses are correct.

Then make sure your contact details such as telephone numbers are correct along with your correct email address and don't forget to fill in your birthday so we can send you something nice once a year!

Then go to the side menu and click on YOUR FINANCES. This is where you manage all aspects of how you pay us and how we pay you! Click on PAYMENT TYPES and double check that your credit card details are accurate. Again this is an area where many of us make simple mistakes, such as leaving the country field to the default setting which happens to be the first on the list in alphabetical order (e.g. Andorra). If you don't make sure your actual country is checked and highlighted your card payments will be declined and you could lose out on commissions.

Make sure the credit card number is correct, as well as the actual address the card is registered to, the expiry date, the CVC number and so on. Again, if there are mistakes your card will be declined.

Once you are happy all your details are accurate save everything and then familiarise yourself with the rest of your site.

46. What happens after someone joins from my site?
Answer: First of all, there is nothing for you to do or worry about. The system will automatically replicate itself so that the new Associate also receives their own customized website with their own username. They will receive an automatic email from our software welcoming them and reminding them of their username and website details, and you will receive an automatic email notifying you of your new Associate. This system works 24/7 to assist you in building your business.

Answer: Our system is fully automated and there is a password retrieval link next to the Members' log in screen. If you can't remember your password just click on this link and you will be emailed your password to your registered email address.

48. Would associates/customers in Middle East Countries viz. Oman,Dubai,Saudi Arabia be able to receive this by Mail if they come on board Geon?
Answer: We currently ship everything by mail with higher value orders being sent using either International Signed for or Airsure according to whether the country accepts this service.

However, I cannot vouch for the customs officers in each market. Some let soft drinks and nutritional supplements through with no issues for personal use, but others sometimes cause problems if they feel people are buying them to resell - there is no consistency in their approach. Only you can answer how these products will be treated by your local customs

We send the BODYHEAT, FOCUS, PROTECT and 2THIN as customs or tariff code 2202 which is the same as for soft drinks since they are water based, and the SUPERB uses customs code 1506 which is for fish oils although your country may apply different tariffs.

Our products are not currently certified Halal but that is planned as none of the products (except SUPERB) use animal ingredients and are non intoxicating so Halal certification should not be a problem

49.  I wish to enrol a friend who doesn't have a credit card. How do I issue a gift certificate for them to use for their signup/Starter Kit?
Answer: Simply enter your member's area and click on the PLUS (+) sign next to the words GIFT CERTIFICATES on your left hand navigation or go to the bottom of the page of the icons in the member's lounge.
Click on CREATE NEW and fill in the details with the amount, any personal message and the email address it is to be mailed to, and confirm the username you are issuing it from (this is whose Geon personal account will be debited).
The recipient will receive an email shortly afterwards with the subject line Geon - Gift Certificate! with a gift certificate code, instructions on how to redeem it and details of who sent it to them.
PLEASE NOTE:
1. If your new or prospective Associate DOES NOT already have a username and password (have not previously signed up as a PENDING Associate) they should simply follow all the instructions and input the gift certificate code when asked for it to pay for their sign up/Starter Kit. Please make sure you have sent them the correct amount including any local taxes which might apply and allowing for the $1 Gift Certificate generation fee. If they follow the instructions their Starter Kit will be paid for by the gift certificate and they will be placed in your downline according to your placement preferences you have set up in your PROFILE.
2. If they ALREADY HAVE A USERNAME AND PASSWORD - in other words they have already tried to sign up but not paid for their Starter Kit and are still in a PENDING status, they cannot use this method to pay for their Starter Kit and need to LOG IN to their member's area and navigate to GIFT CERTIFCATES as above and click on REDEEM. They will see a box where they should enter the gift certificate code which appeared in their email. This will then inform them they have funds in their Geon personal account.
Then they need to navigate to PRODUCT ORDER and place their order for their Starter Kit through the normal order process using this money which has now been placed in their account.

50. I would like to know if is safe for people taking insulin to take the BodyLine product. Also, is there any level of addiction like what people have for caffeine etc.?
Answer: Like all supplements we are required to put disclaimers on the product and our marketing materials saying that if people are under medical supervision they should not take the product without thir physician's approval. If someone is taking insulin due to diabetes they are under medical supervision and this decision is between them and their physician and we should not get involved or make recommendations.

If the question is do you think BODYLINE will have an impact on a person's blood sugar then the answer is that any product (read: food) can affect any paramater in the body and if as a result of taking it they feel more energetic then this may impact their blood sugar and insulin requirement, which is why this is a decision for their doctor not us or you. It doesn't contain any sugars or caffeine except for what occur naturally in small amounts and therefore, in my opinion only, is less likely to affect their insulin requirement than conventional 'energy' products.

The ingredients are classed as GRAS (Generally Recognised As Safe) by the FDA and are not only non-addictive, our certificate of analysis shows a complete absence of prohibited or restricted substances.

Answer: You need to go to the section in your site where you set up Autoship and set 'Personal account' as the default. The software will try and take payment from your Geon account first. If it fails it will try your credit card, but I see you haven't entered any credit card details.

Please note: the system cannot do part payment by account and part by card.
